چکیده
Organic superconductors part of a generic phase diagram The Copenhagen group led by Klaus Bechgaard and experienced with the chemistry of selenium succeeded in the synthesis of a new series of conducting salts all based on the TMTSF molecule namely, (TMTSF)2X where X is an inorganic mono-anion with various possible symmetry, spherical (PF6, AsF6, SbF6, TaF6), tetrahedral (BF4, ClO4, ReO4) or triangular (NO3) [24],see fig(4). All these compounds but the one with X=ClO4 did reveal an insulating ground state under ambient pressure.

Unconventional Superconductivity in Layered Organic Superconductors
Like the high-Tc copper oxides, organic superconductors are another class of superconductors that cannot be fully explained by the conventional BCS theory, due to the repulsive effective interactions between the charge carriers. Experiments display similarities between these systems and the high-Tc copper oxides in their pairing symmetry and their phase diagram. In this paper, some results from...

1 High-field magnetoresistive effects in reduced-dimensionality organic metals and superconductors Summary. The large charge-transfer anisotropy of quasi-one-and quasi-two-dimensional crystalline organic metals means that magnetoresistance is one of the most powerful tools for probing their bandstructure and interesting phase diagrams. Here we review various magnetoresistance phenomena that are...

– The study of the anion ordered (TMTSF )2ClO4(1−x)ReO4x solid solution in the limit of a low ReO− 4 substitution level (0 ≤ x ≤ 17%) has revealed a new and interesting phase diagram. Superconductivity is drastically suppressed as the effect of ReO− 4 non magnetic point defects increases following the digamma behaviour for usual superconductors in the presence of paramagnetic impurities. Then, ...
متن کاملSuperconductivity with a Twist
Superconductivity and magnetism are typically antithetical forms of order. After all, in conventional superconductors, magnetic impurities are destructive to superconductivity as they break Cooper pairs [1]. But the discovery in 1979 of so-called heavy fermion superconductivity, found near an antiferromagnetic phase, led to a shift in thinking on this subject [2]. Since then, some of the most i...
متن کاملCoexistence of Superconductivity and Spin Density Wave orderings in the organic superconductor (TMTSF)2PF6
The phase diagram of the organic superconductor (TMTSF)2PF6 has been revisited using transport measurements with an improved control of the applied pressure. We have found a 0.8 kbar wide pressure domain below the critical point (9.43 kbar, 1.2 K) for the stabilisation of the superconducting ground state featuring a coexistence regime between spin density wave (SDW) and superconductivity (SC). ...
